We are pleased to provide information about our activities and presentations at the 2008 AAMC Annual Meeting in San Antonio, TX.
This site is divided into three sections:View a schedule of sessions and focus groups sponsored by the NBME and any sessions where we have been invited to present to specific groups. Some NBME sessions are open only to invited participants - these sessions are noted accordingly.
NBME Workshops, RIME Presentations, and Other Activities
Plan to attend one or more of the RIME research paper presentations or workshops co-authored or presented by our staff on topics such as USMLE Step 2 Clinical Skills, assessment of professional behaviors, and predicting performance on specialty board exams using USMLE scores.
Stop by the exhibits to take advantage of our "one-stop shopping" approach. We have arranged for the NBME and USMLE booths to be next to those sponsored by the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates(ECMFG®), the Federation of the State Medical Boards (FSMB), the Clinical Skills Evaluation Collaboration (CSEC), and the Foundation for Advancement of International Medical Education and Research (FAIMER®). Meet and greet staff from six organizations - it's a convenient way to get information about programs and services and to ask questions.
