The NBME maintains an active program of research and development with an emphasis on creating new assessment formats and analyzing scoring procedures for measures of educational achievement, continuing education, and professional competence.
We welcome collaborative partners with a shared vision for innovative projects. In addition, NBME research specialists occasionally support health profession organizations that face unique measurement concerns or with issues that require focused investigation or experimentation.
