Title: Test Administration Specialist, Client Examinations
Unit:  P/S-ESS-Test Administration Services

 

Primary Duties include, but not limited to:

  • Investigate and resolve CBT and WBT test administration problems reported by examinees, client contacts, test center staff, and the test delivery vendor.
  • Review and process Center Problem Reports (CPRs) for CBT administrations, and Test Administration Reports for WBT and P/P administrations and identify problems that need follow up and resolution.
  • Plan and coordinate all test administration activities for assigned client examinations, including formulation of schedule of activities across units.
  • Crisis management of incidents that occur during testing.
  • Provide expert customer service, written and oral communication with client contacts, testing vendors, and other NBME staff across units.
  • Participate with management in planning and development of operations, policies and procedures and in evaluating possible courses of action as needed.
Key Deliverables include, but not limited to:
  • Develop proctor instructions and administrative materials and train client proctors as required.
  • Efficiently and accurately investigate and resolve client test administration problems and effectively communicate the resolution to client board (oral or written) describing the results of the investigation and providing recommended course of action.
  • Process proctor incident reports for all assigned client examinations, accurately and in a timely manner, and identify and resolve problems, including required follow up with test delivery vendor, proctors, other NBME units, and/or client Boards.
  • Investigate reports of irregular behavior, as required by client, gather and review necessary evidence, and present report to NBME client management and client Board.
  • Prepare and distribute internally and to client contact, a schedule of test administration activities across units.
  • Prepare a Test Administration Summary report following each client exam administration and provide information for Final Report to Client Board.
  • Develop thorough, detailed procedures for client test administration activities.

Requirements include, but not limited to:

  • Bachelor's degree or Associate's degree with 3 years of related experience.
  • More than 3 and up to 5 years experience.
  • Excellent problem-solving and interpersonal skills (oral and written).
  • Strong Microsoft software skills (Access, Excel, Project and Word).
  • Strong multi-tasking, organizational, influence management, and prioritizing skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
