Thank you for your willingness to complete this survey!
Maintenance of Licensure (MOL) is a process by which licensed physicians provide, as a condition of license renewal, evidence that they are actively participating in a program of continuous professional development that is relevant to their areas of practice.
The Colorado Medical and Osteopathic Societies and Colorado Medical Board are working with the National Board of Medical Examiners (NBME), American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS), and the Federation of State Medical Boards (FSMB) to develop pilot projects in support of MOL. As part of this effort, we have developed this survey to gather information from licensed physicians about the types of professional development activities they find to be most helpful. Your responses are extremely valuable and will help to guide the development of a MOL system that is informed by the opinions of practicing physicians.
The survey should take approximately 10 minutes to complete. Your responses will be saved as you proceed through the survey; you may stop and pick up where you left off if you need to complete it in more than one sitting.
Please be assured that all of your responses will remain confidential; only aggregate results will be reported.
If you have any questions or difficulties with the survey, please contact PhysicianSurvey@nbme.org.
