As a SEEF fellow, what are you most excited about? 

I am most excited about the opportunity to collaborate with and learn from passionate medical educators and the experts at NBME. This fellowship represents a unique opportunity to contribute to the advancement of medical education while building meaningful professional relationships. I look forward to applying what I learn to make a lasting impact on learners, educators and the field of assessment.

What do you hope to get out of the experience? 

I hope to build lasting professional relationships and bring back new ideas, strategies and best practices that will strengthen assessment and medical education at my home institution. I aspire to share what I learn with colleagues and contribute to meaningful improvements in educational practice beyond my institution. Ultimately, I hope these experiences will help improve patient care by better preparing learners and strengthening the systems that support their education.

As a SEEF fellow, what are you most excited about? What do you hope to get out of the experience?

I'm most excited to learn with and from my co-fellows, our SEEF mentors and NBME scientists to deepen my existing interests and growing knowledge about assessment science as part of a durable community of practice within the fellowship. I can already tell that being able to learn new skills in collaboration with fellows in a similar career stage as me is going to be a highlight of these next two years.

As a SEEF fellow, what are you most excited about?

I am excited to learn from the outstanding community of educators and assessment experts within the SEEF program. I look forward to exchanging ideas with colleagues from diverse institutions, gaining deeper insights into assessment design and validation, and exploring innovative approaches to measuring clinical competence.

What do you hope to get out of the experience?

Through this fellowship, I hope to strengthen my expertise in educational assessment and bring back practical strategies that will help enhance our assessment system at VinUniversity. Ultimately, I hope to contribute to developing fair, evidence-based and meaningful assessments that support both learner development and excellence in medical education.

As a SEEF fellow, what are you most excited about? What do you hope to get out of the experience? 

I am most excited about the opportunity to learn from and alongside a community of educators who believe we can do better in how we assess and support trainees. I hope to deepen my expertise in assessment science, challenge the way I think about educational data and develop new approaches that help us better understand the individual trainee. Most of all, I hope to leave SEEF with new ideas, meaningful collaborations, and the tools to translate innovation into lasting change for our trainees and the programs that support them.

As a SEEF fellow, what are you most excited about?

I am most excited about the opportunity to collaborate with the dedicated, innovative and accomplished medical educators here at NBME; my cohort; and our mentors. While I remain deeply interested in advancing my knowledge of evidence-based curriculum design and learner-centered assessment strategies, I am particularly eager to learn from colleagues whose diverse experiences and expertise will inspire and prompt my own professional growth.

What do you hope to get out of the experience?

Through this fellowship, I hope to further develop the skills and knowledge necessary to create meaningful educational experiences for learners and contribute to impactful medical education scholarship. I am especially interested in participating in work that advances educational practice and benefits learners both within my institution and across the broader medical education community. Additionally, I look forward to building lasting professional relationships with fellow educators that will foster ongoing collaboration, mentorship and continued growth throughout my career.

As a SEEF fellow, what are you most excited about? What do you hope to get out of the experience? 

I am most looking forward to collaborating with a community of medical educators, strengthening my expertise in educational research and developing innovative approaches to learner assessment. I hope the fellowship will expand my opportunities for mentorship and collaboration while equipping me with new skills to advance health professions education and improve training for future physicians.

As a SEEF fellow, what are you most excited about?

I am particularly excited about the opportunity to collaborate with other educators who are committed to advancing patient-centered care in health care education. This fellowship fosters a community of innovative thinkers, and I look forward to engaging in meaningful dialogues and initiatives that enhance the assessment and teaching of patient-centered approaches in medical education.

What do you hope to get out of the experience?

I hope to gain valuable insights and tools to advance my scholarly interests in communication, innovation and humanism within health care. As technology evolves, we have a unique opportunity to reprioritize human connection, and I aim to explore how to effectively leverage this focus in medical training. Ultimately, my goal is to develop actionable strategies that enhance the integration of human-centered principles into medical education, benefiting patients, educators and learners alike.

As a SEEF fellow, what are you most excited about?

I am most excited about the opportunity to learn with and from a national cohort of educators who are similarly committed to advancing assessment in medical education. I am especially looking forward to working collaboratively with NBME scientists, mentors and peer fellows to think deeply about how assessment can better support learner development, program decision-making and educational improvement.

What do you hope to get out of the experience?

I hope to strengthen my skills in assessment research, particularly around the design and evaluation of innovative assessment approaches, including AI-enhanced tools. I am also excited to gain experience developing a project through a collaborative, multi-institutional process, from refining a meaningful research question to producing scholarship that can inform the broader medical education community. Ultimately, I hope SEEF will help me grow as an assessment scholar and bring new ideas, methods and partnerships back to my institution to improve clinical assessment for students, faculty and programs.
