Executive Board member, Dr. Paul Cunningham, received the 2018 Jacobi Medallion for his contributions to the medical profession and for his achievements in academic leadership.
In addition to serving on the NBME Executive Board, Dr. Cunningham is Dean Emeritus of the Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University. He served as Dean at Brody School of Medicine from 2008-2016.
Dr. Cunningham was awarded the 2018 Jacobi Medallion on March 15 from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York, which is also where Dr. Cunningham completed his residency in surgery.
