Strategic Educators Enhancement Fund (SEEF) Fellowship Program Opens Call for Letters of Intent

November 29, 2023

To support medical educators who are interested in developing skills in medical education and assessment research, NBME is announcing the second cohort of the Strategic Educators Enhancement Fund (SEEF) Fellowship Program. Supporting the medical education and assessment science communities is the driving force behind our work at NBME.

This fellowship is a project-based faculty development program that has been established to help early-career faculty (at the rank of assistant professor) create a scholarly presentation or publication in areas such as:

  • Technology-enhanced simulation assessment in medical education
  • Assessment in teams
  • Artificial intelligence in medical education/assessment

To achieve the Fellowship goals, eight individuals will be selected to form two education and assessment-focused research cohorts that will be led by mentors and supported by NBME’s psychometricians.

To apply, please visit https://nbme.submittable.com/submit and select “NBME’s Strategic Educators Enhancement Fund (SEEF) Cohort 2.” Letters of intent are due by Jan. 28, 2024.
