NBME is launching a new Medical Student Organization Assistance initiative to support the vital work of student groups across the country. This pilot program will provide individual organizations with awards of up to $7,500. These awards are intended to help empower student leaders, support significant projects and celebrate major organizational milestones—such as anniversaries—that enrich their overall medical education experience.
Eligibility
- Officially recognized by medical school/institution
- Focused on supporting or convening medical students
Application Requirements
Through Submittable, applicants will provide:
- Demonstration of institutional recognition
- Organization mission and goals
- Membership size
- Description of learner support activities
- Funding purpose and timeline
- Budget and other funding sources
- Expected outcomes and impact
Awards will be determined on a rolling basis, with applications being accepted until November. Student organizations can apply through Submittable.
