Applications are being accepted until November 2025. 

NBME’s Medical Student Organization Assistance initiative provides individual awards of up to $7,500 to officially recognized groups by medical schools and institutions that are focused on supporting or convening medical students. These flexible awards are intended to help empower student leaders, support significant projects and celebrate major milestones that enhance their overall medical education experience.

How to Apply

All officially recognized groups by medical schools and institutions that support or convene medical students are encouraged to apply.

Application Requirements

Through Submittable, applicants will provide:

  • Demonstration of institutional recognition
  • Organization mission and goals
  • Membership size
  • Description of learner support activities
  • Funding purpose and timeline
  • Budget and other funding sources
  • Expected outcomes and impact
