How can students, particularly those who may be struggling, translate assessment results into an effective study plan? Medical Education Learning Specialists, or MELS, is using the NBME INSIGHTS dashboard to do exactly that. 

Since the dashboard’s launch, the MELS group has explored how to best interpret the assessment data and make it approachable and actionable for their students. 

In September 2024, four members sat down with NBME to discuss the opportunities INSIGHTS offers, how they’re integrating its data into their feedback loops and the top tips they’re sharing with students to help them maximize their study time.
